Center for Injury Biomechanics Social Activities
When you're part of the Center for Injury Biomechanics at Virginia Tech, you're part of the family. We tend to spend quite a bit of time together and that makes us a very tight knit group. In fact, CIB students can frequently be spotted unwinding together on weekends. And during weeknights, we've been known to congregate at Barnes & Noble to hold group study sessions in a relaxed atmosphere. Extracurricular lab activities include tailgating for Hokie Football games, participating in intramural sports, hiking activities, and community service events like the Christmas store for the underprivileged and the Red Cross blood drive. Check out some pictures from previous semesters:

Tuesday Treats
A new tradition started by Dr. Duma. Each week someone brings in a treat for the office to sample.
The person who is voted as having the best treat gets to be the keeper of the famous CIB Champion Bowl.

Partying with the Hokie Bird
One of the perks of the lab is socializing with plush mascots.

Blood Drive
Carla started a blood drive revolution.
The CIB lab often goes to blood
