Students win awards at RMBS 2011 Conference

April 21, 2011 – Center for Injury Biomechanics students at Wake Forest University won awards at this year’s 2011 Rocky Mountain Biomedical Symposium (RMBS).   The RMBS is one of the longest running regional biomedical engineering conferences in the United States making 2011 their 49th year.  Next year, the CIB will be hosting the RMBS conference at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

Congratulations to Kathryn Loftis who got 1st place poster award, for work using CT reconstructions to look at helmets from motorcyclists involved in crashes. (Pictured on right)
