Aug. 15, 2010 – Allison Daniello has been honored with the 2010 Eisenhower Transportation Graduate Fellowship from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration. The Eisenhower Fellowship is a very prestigious, highly competitive award intended to attract the nation’s brightest minds to the field of transportation. The fellowship will allow Allison to conduct an in-depth research study of the influence of highway infrastructure design upon motorcycle fatality and injury risk. Allison is a first year PhD student at Virginia Tech in the Center for Injury Biomechanics. Her advisor is Dr. Clay Gabler.
